Shaping Frayser’s future: Libertas breaks ground on middle school campus

Memphis middle schooler Isaiah Jones spends some of his class time researching bearded dragons. Other classmates have explored solar cars and built catapults.
“I enjoy the freedom we have in our work period. … I also appreciate knowing that my teachers respect me. They challenge me and hold me accountable, but they also listen to me,” Isaiah told dozens of students, staff, family and other community supporters gathered at a groundbreaking ceremony to celebrate his new middle school.
