AAC asks former Big East commissioner to help elevate AAC profile

The American Athletic Conference will work with one of the most respected minds in college basketball to improve its basketball product with the goal of becoming a consistent multi-bid league in the NCAA men’s and women’s tournaments.

The AAC has engaged former Big East commissioner Mike Tranghese to advise the conference on its basketball strategy and growth, a league spokesperson told The Daily Memphian on Tuesday morning.
