Property tax face-off will close out county budget season

The Shelby County Board of Commissioners could close out their budget season Monday, June 23, with at least some consideration of a property tax hike.
When the commission meeting begins at 3 p.m., the tax rate in the ordinance that sets the rate for the new fiscal year starting July 1 will be blank.
