Ben Agyemang is 19 years old, and before he arrived in Memphis in January 2024 to go to college, he had never left his home country of Ghana.
That trip to Memphis, at once terrifying and exhilarating, offered a chance at a new life, one with a planned degree in biomedical engineering from the University of Memphis.
