That’s what American Conference Commissioner Tim Pernetti suggested when he was asked Friday about reports revealing a former Memphis football player shared intel with UTSA’s quarterback before the Roadrunners beat the Tigers last season.
Pernetti was not alone in his efforts to make the bad look blow over.
