High lead levels found in water sources at some Memphis school campuses
“We remain committed to maintaining a safe learning and working environment and will continue to monitor and address all environmental health concerns with transparency and urgency,” Memphis-Shelby County Schools officials said in a statement announcing the results. Memphis-Shelby County Schools also notified Tennessee regulators and provided bottled water to be used along with water-filtration systems and hand sanitizer.
