Struggling CBU loses a third of its student population in one year

While other local higher education institutions have recorded small increases or modest declines in enrollment, beleaguered Christian Brothers University lost a third of its student population between 2024 and 2025.

The private Catholic school in Midtown has an enrollment of 1,032 students this fall, a decrease of 501, or nearly 33%, from the previous year.
