Former youth pastor Lindsey Whiteside is facing a mandatory minimum of 10 years to life in federal prison if found guilty on three felony counts related to sexual exploitation of a minor after a U.S. District Court grand jury indicted her.

The federal indictment, filed Oct. 22 in the Northern District of Mississippi, was unsealed, outlining the punishment and the details of the case against the former youth pastor at Getwell Church Hernando and assistant basketball coach for DeSoto Central High.

Whiteside pleaded guilty in DeSoto County Circuit Court to sexual battery of a minor on Oct. 14, only to receive a widely criticized sentence of three years house arrest.
