What to watch in Memphis’ rematch with Wichita State

Coach Penny Hardaway has promised Memphis Tigers fans several times over the past couple weeks that neither he nor his team would stop fighting.
That’s understandable, because the Tigers (12-15, 7-7 American Conference) may not be able to afford more than one slip-up in the final two weeks of the regular season. Otherwise they may not make the 10-team field for next month’s American Conference Tournament in Birmingham, Alabama.
The first of the Tigers’ final four regular-season games is Thursday (8 p.m., ESPN2) at FedExForum, a rematch of their Jan. 24 road loss to Wichita State (18-10, 10-5 American).
