What’s unfolding inside Elmwood Cemetery? Shakespeare, costumes and Alexander Hamilton

Founded in 1852, Elmwood Cemetery is Memphis’ oldest active cemetery.

Active means that in addition to the 80,000 people already resting there, five to seven new residents are added a week, according to executive director Kim Bearden.
