Chris Herrington has covered the Memphis Grizzlies, in one way or another, since the franchise’s second season in Memphis, while also writing about music, movies, food and civic life. He now splits his time between Minneapolis-St. Paul, where his wife works, and Memphis.

Some thoughts ahead on four Grizzlies topics, in this order: The team’s latest injury updates, the NCAA tourney and draft scouting, the standings and lottery odds “race,” and NBA expansion:

Responding to a question after the game, head coach Tuomas Iisalo noted that when Aldama went through his final pre-game testing, he didn’t feel right.
