UTHSC gives $1.75M in grants across Tennessee, nearly $500K to Le Bonheur Children’s Hospital

The University of Tennessee Health Science Center’s Rural Health Care Center of Excellence announced Tuesday, March 31, nearly half a million dollars to support critical health services for rural counties in West Tennessee.
The money will be used to establish a West Tennessee Pediatric Trauma Network by Le Bonheur Children’s Hospital, according to a release.
Health officials confirmed the grant amount of $487,500, part of a $1.75 million package of grants UTHSC announced for programming statewide.
