Long-vacant Holiday Inn, FedEx campus on Lamar gets new owner

A long-vacant office campus where Holiday Inn employees played racquetball and FedEx Corp. tracked planes has new ownership.

Malone EAT LLC, a local real estate holding company, bought the Commerce Center property at 3796 Lamar Ave. from San Jose, California-based TCLT LLC for $800,000.


Former Immaculate Conception high school buildings, convent being demolished


Developed by Holiday Inn in the 1960s and leased at one time by FedEx, the 33.1-acre property has three buildings with a total of 331,705 square feet.
