This Mother Goose tends to her flock of truck drivers
Kristy Hart, Memphis terminal manager for Dunavant Logistics, stands in the dispatch and customer service area. (Greg Campbell/Special to The Daily Memphian)
If it weren’t for her grandmother, Kristy Hart may have never entered the supply and logistics business.
Hart’s grandmother worked at Union Pacific in Dallas for nearly four decades, and she would walk up and down the railroad tracks with her, watching her take down container numbers and enter them into a tracking system. Hart has fond memories of riding on train cabooses.
Now, Hart is the Memphis terminal manager for Dunavant, a supply and logistics company. She arrived at Dunavant in 2018 and became terminal manager in June 2023.
