US attorney appeals former Evolve CEO’s sentencing in child sexual abuse case

The U.S. attorney’s office is appealing the judge’s sentence in the case of the former Evolve Bank CEO who solicited sex from someone he believed to be a 15-year-old boy. 

Robert Hartheimer, 69, was sentenced in June to 51 months in prison and 60 months probation for the attempted production of child sexual material and attempted coercion of a minor to engage in a criminal sexual act
