Local medical providers say new federal vaccine guidelines won’t change missions

Despite new guidelines from the White House on childhood vaccine schedules, multiple local medical institutions said that they’re still waiting to see what — if anything — will change how they administer vaccines.
Earlier this month, President Donald Trump signed an executive order that sets guidelines and recommendations on which vaccines children should receive.
Of the various recommendations, one change has generated a fair share of media coverage and overall discussion: separating a single vaccine for measles, mumps, and rubella (MMR) into three different shots.
