Memphis vs. UNLV: No starting QB has been announced, and no depth chart released for either team

There are always questions before college-football-season openers, and the Memphis Tigers and UNLV Rebels have added to the unknowns before Saturday’s game in Las Vegas.
As of Tuesday afternoon, the two teams had released their game notes for Saturday’s game at Allegiant Stadium (9 p.m., Fox), but neither included a depth chart. That means neither the Tigers nor the Rebels have named the starting quarterback.
“There are people looking at our roster right now, the reason I won’t put a depth chart out,” Memphis coach Charles Huff said before Tuesday’s practice. “There are Power 4 teams scouting our roster. How do I know it? Because everybody is doing it. I’m not against it. It is where we are.
