Amid the ‘enrollment cliff,’ one Memphis college stalls, another surges

After Christian Brothers University lost nearly a third of its student population from 2025 to 2026, officials at the 155-year-old school hoped for an influx of new students this fall to help stem those losses.
It didn’t happen, based on numbers released by CBU this week.
