Marcus Stokes fumbled.
Then he fumbled again.
Then running back Manny Covey fumbled.
Then Stokes threw a pick.
And that was just in the first 30 minutes!
Memphis lost to the Tulane Green Wave, 31-17, on a blustery Friday night, suggesting it may not yet have addressed all the gap-closing work new coach Charles Huff set as his goal for the program.
