Good morning. It’s Wednesday, Nov. 4, and all of those pesky text messages from political candidates will finally stop. We’ve got everything we know about what happened in last night’s election below.

9th flips red: Despite a national blue wave that flipped both the U.S. House and Senate to Democrats, Republican Brent Taylor turned Tennessee’s new 9th Congressional District red. But it was close.

Blackburn wins: U.S. Sen. Marsha Blackburn will be the next governor of Tennessee after winning a very narrow race.

State gets a little more blue: Six state House seats held by Republicans across the state went Democratic on Tuesday, including the 97th District.

On the amendments: All the amendments for the Tennessee Constitution and Memphis city charter passed.

In the ’burbs: Germantown has a new mayor.

Coming in like a wrecking ball: The E.H. Crump Boulevard shopping center that reminded us to “Think God!” is coming down soon.

Still Popping: Memphis Tigers big man Nemanja Popovic helped his team win Monday’s game — without actually playing.

Wild horses, Godzilla and The Cat in the Hat: This week’s new movies are all over the place.
