Lori Smith was a teenager in love in the 1990s, and when Valentine’s Day popped up on the calendar, she was atwitter with anticipation.
As Smith sat in her school cafeteria, a delivery person walked in with a dozen red roses and headed straight for her.
Smith swooned.
