The Landers Center’s CFO was fired earlier this week, in addition to the facility’s executive director, whose dismissal was reported earlier.
Amy Lovorn, chair of the DeSoto County Convention and Visitors Bureau’s Board of Directors, confirmed Jason Morgan’s termination on Wednesday, Jan. 8.
Lovorn said the decision came during a special meeting on Monday, the same meeting where executive director Todd Mastry was terminated.
In a conversation Tuesday, Mastry said he would respond through his attorney at the appropriate time. Joel Crews, the facility’s general manager, was named interim executive director.
