BET+ sets Christmas rom-com in Memphis

A new romantic-comedy film set in Memphis will debut this week.
“Never Alone for Christmas: Memphis” will air on the BET+ streaming service on Thursday, Dec. 11. Among the cast are Memphis singer K. Michelle (Kimberly Michelle Pate) and actor Tom Arnold.
According to a post from casting director Natasha Ward, the film was mainly shot in Shelbyville, Kentucky. Ward was also the casting director for the TV series “G.R.I.T.S. (Girls Raised in the South),” which was shot in Memphis and Atlanta and is currently airing on AMC Network’s ALL BLK streaming service.
