Headstone company sues, claiming planned gas station would kill its business
Paul West (right) and his wife stand in the alley behind West Memorials. The alley, which provides trucks access to West Memorials' loading dock, is the source of the dispute over the proposed gas station that would go into the property behind West's. West claims that the gas-station site plans he's holding would cut off access to the loading dock behind his shop, effectively putting him out of business. (Patrick Lantrip/Daily Memphian)
West Memorials on Broad Avenue claims the proposed gas station next door blocks access to its loading dock.
