Growlers going back to roots with local bands

Growlers isn’t going anywhere, owner Tony Westmoreland said Tuesday, May 6, despite news that two of the Midtown spot’s main concert bookers were moving to Minglewood Hall.
Instead, the venue that opened in 2017 in the former Hi-Tone Cafe space will be pivoting to hosting more local bands as opposed to the smaller, national touring acts that have played there in recent years.
