After the debate, after words upon words, Memphis-Shelby County Schools board member Amber Huett-Garcia reminded her colleagues of the particular issue before them Tuesday, July 29.
“I want to clarify tonight that the decision before us is whether we’re accepting an in-kind donation from a company that wants to invest in our infrastructure,” she said.
