June home sales strong, but year-to-date sales lag

Memphis-area home sales increased by nearly 1% in June compared to the same month a year ago, according to a report from the Memphis Area Association of Realtors.
MAAR’s monthly report also showed the 1,595 home sales in June marked an 11% increase from the 1,435 sales in May.
“Arlington, Bartlett, Cordova, Germantown and Collierville were all active submarkets,” MAAR President Greg Renfrow said.
