Audrey Brantz remains somewhat shocked that her 11-year-old daughter Vivienne knows how to play Metallica songs on guitar.

Proud, too, and Brantz points to one reason why her daughter now knows the chords to “Enter Sandman.”

“I’d like to say that (her father and I) are the reason that she loves really cool bands, but I think it’s because of School of Rock,” Brantz admitted, adding that her daughter wants to grow her hair longer, which would seem to be an essential component of playing Metallica. “I love that she wanted to be in the Metallica group. … I think one of the teachers even said something like, ‘Wait, I don’t know a lot of 11-year-olds who even know who Metallica is.’”
