Nike to lay off more than 700 workers in Tennessee, Mississippi

Nike Inc. is laying off about 775 employees throughout Tennessee and Mississippi, company officials said Monday, Jan. 26. 

It’s unclear how many employees at the Nike distribution center in Frayser are included in the layoffs. 

No Worker Adjustment and Retraining Notification (WARN) Act notice had been published as of Tuesday, Jan. 27.
