The Mississippi Department of Education released its most recent accountability grades Tuesday, Sept. 17, and DeSoto County scored an A.

These results mark the largest-ever share of Mississippi districts that are now rated A, B or C.

“Our students, teachers, administrators and staff faced many challenges, and these accountability results show how hard everyone worked to overcome those obstacles,” DeSoto County Schools Superintendent Corey Uselton said.
