State Supreme Court rules against Henri Brooks in adoption scandal suit

The Tennessee Supreme Court will not hear Shelby County Commissioner Henri Brooks’ civil lawsuit over her adoption as an infant through the Tennessee Children’s Home Society.
The court ruled without comment last month that it will not hear an appeal. A lower court dismissed the case in January.
