Judge rules on Wanda Halbert’s removal

A second attempt to remove Shelby County Clerk Wanda Halbert has failed in court.
Circuit Court Judge Felicia Corbin-Johnson dismissed the ouster petition to remove Halbert from office Wednesday, Nov. 20.
Corbin-Johnson essentially named two reasons for her ruling.
