An Environmental Court hearing on a controversial recovery home in the Cooper-Young neighborhood was reset to Dec. 9 after a judge had questions Monday, Nov. 18, about who received the original citation in the case.

Code enforcement officials issued a citation to Marshall Wilson on Oct. 22 for “operating a supportive living facility for profit in a single-family residential zone” at 1925 Nelson Ave. Wilson and Tyler Bell are cofounders of A Vision For You, a Nashville-based for-profit operator of recovery homes.

On Monday, however, Environmental Court Judge Patrick Dandridge indicated that the owners of the home should also have received a citation. The home is owned by Jamie and Christian Steward, who are leasing it to A Vision For You.
