Chris Herrington has covered the Memphis Grizzlies, in one way or another, since the franchise’s second season in Memphis, while also writing about music, movies, food and civic life. Out of the playoffs after a four-game sweep against the Oklahoma City Thunder, as a barely-made-it eighth seed, and spending their last Sunday of April pushing into an uncertain offseason while 15 other teams — half the NBA — continued to play.
