Former Memphian Finebaum extends contract with ESPN

College football commentator and former Memphian Paul Finebaum has signed a multi-year contract extension with ESPN, the network announced Friday.
Finebaum, a White Station High and University of Tennessee graduate, “will continue to play a prominent role in ESPN and SEC Network programming, including as the host of ‘The Paul Finebaum Show’ and as a commentator on ‘SEC Nation,’” according to an ESPN new release.
Finebaum also will continue to travel to SEC campuses and game sites on football weekends this fall. His first “Finebaum Friday” show of the 2024 season, scheduled for Aug. 30, will originate from Gainesville, Florida.
