Redbirds Recap: Memphis offense jumps on Sounds pitching early in 10-run win
The Memphis Redbirds snagged an 11-1 inning victory against the Nashville Sounds (Triple-A, Milwaukee Brewers) on Wednesday night, Sept. 17, at First Horizon Park, continuing a six-game road trip.
Memphis jumped right on Nashville pitching with a run in the first inning, five more in the second frame and three more to cap the fourth. First baseman Trey Paige led the bats with a 3-for-5, 3-RBI night and a triple. Center Fielder Colton Ledbetter and left fielder Chase Davis each hit a home run.
