If a $20 million purse including $3.6 million to the winner isn’t enough, Collin Morikawa has extra incentive to tear up TPC Southwind this week.
The same goes for Castle Pines at next week’s BMW Championship in Castle Rock, Colorado, and for East Lake the following week at the Tour Championship in Atlanta — the last two legs of the FedEx Cup playoffs.
That’s because Morikawa is all about helping a good cause, and this year’s beneficiary of the 27-year-old Californian’s play during the playoffs is a really good one.

It’s one that — especially for those out at Southwind for the FedEx St. Jude Championship, which started Thursday and runs through Sunday — hits really close to home.
