Memphis Grizzlies point guard Ja Morant will likely return to the court when the team takes on the New Orleans Pelicans on Friday at 4 p.m. at FedExForum.
Morant missed Memphis’ game on Wednesday, a 20-point win over the Detroit Pistons, with a knee contusion. Coach Taylor Jenkins labeled Morant day-to-day and said the injury was not overly concerning.
On Thursday, the Grizzlies officially listed Morant as probable to play against New Orleans on the injury report. Zach Edey and Vince Williams Jr. are listed as out with ankle injuries.
