Drew Hill covers the Memphis Grizzlies and is a top-10 APSE winner. He has worked throughout the South writing about college athletics before landing in Memphis.

Herrington: Jimmy Butler to the Grizzlies? The anatomy of a rumor.
Edey, a two-time college national player of the year at Purdue, was as polarizing of a draft prospect as possible — literally deemed “one of the worst picks in draft history” by one national analyst last June.
Some doubters said Edey’s foot speed was too slow or that he was a benefactor of tight college officiating. Others said the 7-footer’s post-heavy game wasn’t a fit with Memphis at all.
Altogether now: ‘Oops!’
