In spring 2024, a year before Tuomas Iisalo became interim head coach for the Memphis Grizzlies, the opportunities arrived.
Iisalo, who had just taken Paris Basketball to the finals of the French LNB Pro A and the EuroCup, was on the radar of multiple NBA teams. His success was undeniable. He was viewed as one of the rising coaching minds in Europe.
