Desmond Bane marched to the free-throw line with the Memphis Grizzlies down by three and less than a second remaining in the game.
He fired in the first foul shot, then intentionally clanged the second off the back of the rim.
Both teams scrambled for the rebound — the putback try that could tie the game and extend the Grizzlies' season for at least five more minutes.
