FORT WORTH, Texas — A Memphis roster that’s bent but never truly broken throughout the season is starting to take its fair share of hits.

And, unfortunately for the No. 16 Tigers (28-5), this is happening as they sit just one win away from checking off another one of their season-long goals.

Coach Penny Hardaway’s team, the No. 1 seed this week at the AAC Tournament in Fort Worth, Texas, beat No. 4 seed Tulane 78-77 on Saturday afternoon at Dickies Arena to advance to Sunday’s AAC Tournament championship game for the third time in the past four seasons.
