Martin: It’s time to call the Big East

Before joining The Daily Memphian team, he was the Memphis beat writer for The Athletic. Currently, he is the co-host of the Jason and John Show on 92.9 FM ESPN, weekdays at 11 a.m. Martin is a graduate of White Station High School and the University of Memphis.
Alright, Memphis.
We’ve taken the last 24 hours to grieve.
To use poker parlance, the University of Memphis went all-in with way more chips than we assumed they had. And the hand didn’t even get to showdown (nary a Big 12 vote was taken).
