By , Daily Memphian Published: February 01, 2026 7:26 PM CT

Effort has been a concern for Memphis (10-11, 5-4 American Conference) at times this season, but the fight was there for much of Sunday’s 78-76 defeat.

Much of the stat sheet suggests a Memphis victory.
