Memphis Tigers quarterback Seth Henigan was aware.

He entered Saturday’s home game against Middle Tennessee having thrown at least one touchdown pass in each of the 41 straight games he’s played as a Tiger, which ties former Oregon quarterback and 2014 Heisman Trophy winner Marcus Mariota for the second-longest in FBS history.

MTSU entered the game with 13 passing touchdowns allowed, which were the most in the country. But the streak ended after Henigan finished with no TD passes for the first time in his college career.

No worries.

The Tigers (4-1) beat the Blue Raiders 24-7 anyway.

“It didn’t really matter to me, to be honest,” Henigan said.
