The Memphis Tigers will end the postseason in Texas for the second time in three years.
After traveling to Dallas to beat Utah State at the First Responder Bowl in 2022, Memphis will look to beat West Virginia in the Dec. 17 Scooter’s Coffee Frisco Bowl at Toyota Stadium in Frisco, Texas (8 p.m. CST, ESPN).
The Tigers, ranked 23rd in Sunday’s Coaches poll and No. 25 in the AP Poll, received their 11th straight bowl bid last Wednesday.
West Virginia is the second straight Big 12 opponent Memphis will face in the postseason. The Tigers beat Iowa State 36-26 in the AutoZone Liberty Bowl last year.
