Just one week after Memphis suffered a sobering loss to UAB in Birmingham, the Tigers will face a No. 18 South Florida team that is playing some of the best football in the American Conference right now.
Memphis (6-1, 2-1 American) will kick off against USF on Saturday (11 a.m., ESPN2) at Simmons Bank Liberty Stadium.
The Tigers are on a four-game winning streak against the Bulls (6-1, 3-0) and have won seven of the last eight series outings, dating to 2013.
This USF team is different than previous years, though.
