‘Oh, the hummingbirds!’ Southaven gears up for inaugural festival

A new festival celebrating the ruby-throated hummingbird migration is set to launch in Southaven on Sept. 13, a project city officials and organizers believe will significantly boost local tourism.

Inspired by a discontinued event in Holly Springs, the Southaven Hummingbird Festival aims to draw thousands of visitors with a blend of nature education and family-friendly activities. The festival hopes to establish itself as a premier regional event, attracting nature enthusiasts and families.
