Landers Center expansion cleared for next phase by board

The Landers Center expansion is moving to the next phase after project leaders successfully finalized design adjustments to keep the massive convention center project within budget.
Following the Board of Supervisor’s authorization of minor changes on Monday, Oct. 20, the construction bid package is set for release in early November.
Architect Doug Thornton, confirmed to the DeSoto County Board of Supervisors that the project’s scope remains intact, with no reductions to the planned size.
