Shelby County Health Department reports 194 cases from 1,513 tests

Shelby County Health Department reported 194 new positive cases on Sunday for a total of 27,467 cases of COVID-19 since early March.
Of the 1,513 reported tests 12.8% were positive. According to the most recent data, the Health Department estimates 24,142 people have recovered.
Two new deaths related to the virus were reported Sunday, for a total of 378.
The most recent metro-area hospital data provided by the Health Department is from Friday at 5 p.m. At that time 88% of acute care beds were in use and 86% of intensive care units had patients. Of those in ICU, 93 (25%) have coronavirus.
The Tennessee Department of Health reports 835 new cases, for a total of 153,115. There are 22 additional deaths, bringing the total to 1,747.
An additional 670 recoveries were reported, bringing the total number of Tennesseans who have beaten COVID-19 to 114,769.
Nearly 12,000 new tests were reported, bringing the total number of tests administered in Tennessee to 2,185,364.
